This model is part of the Kardo x Flâneurs collection, a staple of our summer collaborations. The BP09 shirt is designed with a straight, slightly tailored fit for added comfort and versatility. It is lightweight and perfect for warm days. The open collar and buttoned chest pocket give it a practical yet elegant workwear-inspired style.
This fabric combines hand weaving with Block Print printing using natural dyes. The fabric is then hand-printed using carved wooden blocks and natural dyes.
Each piece pays tribute to craftsmanship: the name of every person involved in its making is proudly displayed on the label, a testament to a human-scale and deeply committed production process.
What is Block Print?
The fabric used for this model is a uniform base with a resistant dye, on which patterns are pressed using the Block Print technique. This artisanal method consists of hand-carving motifs into wooden blocks, which are then dipped in natural dyes and stamped onto the fabric. Each block creates a unique pattern, resulting in variations from one shirt to another. It is a long process that often requires multiple blocks for a single motif, demanding patience and precision in layering the prints.
This model fits true to size, so you can choose your usual size.
Due to the handcrafted nature and manual production of Kardo shirts, measurements may vary slightly from one piece to another, without affecting the overall fit.
