Each piece pays homage to artisanal craftsmanship: the name of each person who contributed to its making is proudly displayed on the label, a testimony of small-scale, deeply committed production.

What is Block Print?

The fabric used for this model is a uniform base with resistant dye, onto which patterns have been pressed using the Block Print technique. This artisanal technique involves hand-carving patterns into wooden stamps which are then dipped in natural dyes before being stamped onto the fabric. Each stamp creates a unique pattern and the results vary from one shirt to another. It is a lengthy process that often requires several stamps for a single pattern, thus demanding patience and precision in the layering of the prints.
