Now a staple in our summer collections for the past 3 years, here is the new edition of one of our most appreciated and anticipated collaborations: Kardo x Flâneurs.

With an unchanged design, this comfortable straight-cut shirt has been slightly lengthened compared to the models offered by Kardo to more easily fit different body types and to be worn easily both tucked and untucked. The open collar adds a touch of authenticity while the chest pocket draws inspiration from a more workwear style.

The name of each artisan involved in making the shirt is listed on the label, highlighting the human scale of this unique manufacturer.

What is Block Print?

The fabric used for this model is a uniform base, with resistant dye, onto which patterns are pressed using the Block Print technique. This artisan technique involves hand-carving patterns into wooden stamps that are then dipped in natural dyes before being stamped onto the fabric. Each stamp creates a unique pattern and results can vary from one shirt to another. It is a lengthy process that often requires several stamps for a single pattern, thus requiring patience and precision in the layering of prints.
