What is Block Print?

The fabric used for this model is a uniform base with a resistant dye, onto which patterns have been pressed using the Block Print technique. This artisanal technique involves hand-carving patterns into wooden stamps that are then dipped in natural dyes before being stamped onto the fabric. Each stamp creates a unique pattern and a variable result from one shirt to another. It is a lengthy process that often requires several stamps for a single pattern, necessitating patience and precision in the layering of the impressions.
