These ROTOTO socks, with a classic Leopard pattern, are made of velour fabric ("pile"), smooth on the outside and looped on the inside. Thick and cushiony, these socks provide comfort and enhanced cushioning, whether in a pair of sneakers or boots.

ROTOTO socks are manufactured in Japan's largest sock-producing region, Nara Prefecture. The area has been known for its quality textiles since the 17th century. Industrial production of socks was first introduced in 1910 when a man from the former village of Umami (now Koryocho) imported a weaving machine from the United States to his hometown after studying abroad.

ROTOTO places great emphasis on collaboration in its product research: "We start by selecting the right yarns with craftsmen to develop the design of a new material. After that, we choose the knitting machines based on the type of material and the intended use of the product. This could involve rare machines that serve a specific purpose, old non-computerized knitting machines, or alternatively, modern high-tech tools."
