These ROTOTO socks, featuring the classic "Duck Hunter" camo pattern, are made from a velour fabric ("pile"), smooth on the outside and looped on the inside. Thick and plush, these socks guarantee comfort and enhanced cushioning, whether worn with sneakers or boots.

ROTOTO socks are manufactured in Japan's largest sock-producing region, Nara Prefecture. The area has been known for its quality textiles since the 17th century. Industrial sock production was first introduced in 1910 when a man from the former village of Umami (now Koryocho) imported a weaving machine from the United States to his hometown after a study trip to the country.

ROTOTO places great value on collaboration in its product research: "We start by selecting the right yarns with artisans to develop the design of a new material. After that, we choose the knitting machines according to the type of material and the product's intended use. This can involve rare machines that have a specific use, old non-computerized knitting machines, or, conversely, modern high-tech tools."

ROTOTO socks can only be made by combining the right materials, the right machine, and the artisan's know-how.

"Preserving the tradition inherited from previous generations, while painting the future with a fresh perspective. We will continue to try to produce things that can only be created here."
