These ROTOTO socks, featuring the classic "Duck Hunter" camouflage pattern, are made from velour fabric ("pile"), smooth on the outside and looped on the inside. Thick and fluffy, these socks ensure comfort and improved cushioning, whether worn with sneakers or boots.

ROTOTO socks are manufactured in Japan's largest sock-producing region, Nara Prefecture. The region has been recognized for its quality textiles since the 17th century. Industrial sock production was first introduced in 1910 when a man from the former village of Umami (now Koryocho) imported a weaving machine from the United States to his hometown after studying abroad.

ROTOTO places great emphasis on collaboration in its product research: "We begin by selecting the right yarns with artisans to develop the design of a new material. After that, we choose the knitting machines based on the type of material and the intended use of the product. This could involve rare machines that have a specific use, old non-computerized knitting machines, or, conversely, modern high-tech tools."

The ROTOTO socks can only be made by combining the right materials, the right machine, and the craftsman's expertise.

"Preserving the tradition inherited from previous generations, while painting the future with a fresh perspective. We will continue to strive to produce items that can only be created here."
