These ROTOTO socks, featuring a classic Leopard pattern, are made from velvet-like fabric ("pile"), smooth on the outside and looped on the inside. Thick and fluffy, these socks offer comfort and enhanced cushioning, suitable for both sneakers and boots.

ROTOTO socks are produced in Nara prefecture, the largest sock production region in Japan. The area has been known for its quality textiles since the 17th century. Industrial production of socks was first introduced in 1910 when a man from the former village of Umami (now Koryocho) imported a knitting machine from the United States to his hometown after a study trip to the country.

ROTOTO places high value on collaboration in its product research: "We start by selecting the right yarns with craftsmen to develop the design of a new material. After that, we choose knitting machines depending on the type of material and the intended use of the product. It could be rare machines that have a specific use, old non-computerized knitting machines, or, conversely, modern high-tech tools."
