Based in Peterhead, Harley of Scotland continues to preserve the rare craft of genuine seamless knitting. Each sweater is knitted as a single continuous piece, eliminating side seams and traditional panel construction to provide a more natural fit, enhanced freedom of movement and exceptional durability.

This sweater is crafted from premium Supersoft Shetland Wool spun by J.C. Rennie at Milladen Mill in Scotland. Renowned for its outstanding thermal performance, breathability and resilience, the yarn retains the authentic qualities of traditional Shetland wool while offering a noticeably softer hand.

The signature Shaggy finish is achieved by brushing the completed garment once with a natural teasel (Dipsacus Fullonum), a dried thistle traditionally used in Scottish wool mills. Its flexible hooks gently lift the fibres without damaging them, creating a soft, lightly brushed surface that enhances warmth, loft and texture while preserving the wool's natural character.
