Description

For generations, Harley of Scotland has been one of the few remaining manufacturers specialising in genuine seamless knitwear. Each sweater is knitted as a single continuous piece, eliminating side seams and traditional assembly to provide a more natural drape, enhanced comfort and exceptional durability.

This sweater is knitted from premium Supersoft Shetland Wool spun by J.C. Rennie at Milladen Mill in Scotland. Carefully selected for its fine handle while retaining the natural qualities of traditional Shetland wool, the yarn offers outstanding insulation, breathability and resilience, making it an ideal everyday knit throughout the colder months.

The signature Shaggy finish is achieved by brushing the completed sweater once using a natural teasel (Dipsacus Fullonum), a dried thistle that has been used in wool mills for centuries. Unlike modern metal brushes, the teasel gently raises the fibres without damaging them, creating a soft, lightly brushed texture that enhances warmth, loft and depth while preserving the wool's natural character.

Featuring a medium-weight knit with a slightly open structure, this sweater strikes an excellent balance between warmth and breathability.
