Description

For several generations, Harley of Scotland has been preserving the craft of true seamless knitting, a technique now mastered by very few manufacturers. Each sweater is knitted as a single piece, without side seams or traditional assembly, providing a naturally fluid fit, exceptional comfort, and outstanding durability.

This model is made from Supersoft Shetland Wool spun by J.C. Rennie at the Scottish Milladen Mill spinning facility. This virgin wool is renowned for its balance of warmth, breathability, and resilience, while offering enhanced softness thanks to the careful selection of premium fibers.

The distinctive Shaggy finish is achieved through brushing with a wild teasel (Dipsacus Fullonum). Used for centuries in woolen mills, this dried plant gently raises the fibers without damaging them, creating a soft halo that improves the sweater's softness, loft, and thermal performance.

Fit & Sizing

Its mid-weight knit and slightly airy texture offer an excellent balance between thermal insulation and breathability. The regular fit and classic crew neck design make it easy to wear over a t-shirt or shirt, either layered under a jacket or as a standalone piece throughout the colder months.
