Description

For decades, Harley of Scotland has remained one of the few manufacturers dedicated to genuine seamless knitwear. Each sweater is knitted as a single continuous piece, eliminating side seams and traditional panel construction to achieve a more natural fit, superior comfort and outstanding durability.

This sweater is crafted from premium Supersoft Shetland Wool spun by J.C. Rennie at Milladen Mill in Scotland. Carefully selected for its softer handle while preserving the distinctive character of traditional Shetland wool, the yarn offers excellent insulation, breathability and long-lasting resilience.

The signature Shaggy finish is created by brushing the completed garment once with a natural teasel (Dipsacus Fullonum), a dried thistle historically used in Scottish wool mills. Its flexible hooks gently lift the fibres without damaging them, creating a soft, lightly brushed surface that enhances warmth, loft and texture while preserving the integrity of the wool.

Fit & Sizing

Its medium-weight knit and slightly open stitch structure provide an excellent balance between warmth and breathability. The regular fit and classic crew neck make it easy to wear over a T-shirt or shirt, whether layered beneath outerwear or worn on its own throughout the autumn and winter seasons.
