Description

For decades, Harley of Scotland has remained one of the few manufacturers dedicated to genuine seamless knitting. Each sweater is knitted as a single continuous piece, eliminating side seams and conventional panel construction to deliver a naturally balanced fit, superior comfort and exceptional durability.

This sweater is crafted from premium Supersoft Shetland Wool spun by J.C. Rennie at Milladen Mill in Scotland. Carefully selected to retain the warmth, breathability and resilience of traditional Shetland wool while offering a noticeably softer hand, the yarn represents the finest of Scottish spinning expertise.

The signature Shaggy finish is created by brushing the completed garment once using a natural teasel (Dipsacus Fullonum), a dried thistle historically employed in Scottish wool mills. Its flexible hooks gently raise the fibres without damaging them, producing a soft halo that enhances warmth, loft and texture while preserving the wool's natural character.

Fit & Sizing

Its medium-weight knit and slightly open stitch structure provide an excellent balance between warmth and breathability. The regular fit and classic crew neck make it easy to layer over a T-shirt or shirt, whether worn under outerwear or as a standalone piece throughout the colder seasons.
