The SD-1008 is a tribute to traditional Japanese craftsmanship. Crafted from 15oz selvedge denim, woven on the GL3 shuttle loom — successor to the legendary Toyoda G3 — it offers an irregular texture and pronounced depth. The Relax Tapered fit features a mid-rise with comfortable room through the thighs, gradually tapering toward the hem for a modern and versatile silhouette.
The fabric of the SD-1008 stands out thanks to its construction on the GL3 shuttle loom. This vintage machine, renowned for its slow pace and meticulous process, produces denim with an uneven grain and distinctive texture. This method enhances variations in the fabric and promotes unique fading over time. The result is a robust, lively denim deeply rooted in Japanese artisanal tradition.
