The Nighthings Bandana Olive Black by One Ear Brand is part of the “Dark Nature Series”, a collection exploring the nocturnal world and the discreet forms of life found in nature. Inspired by moths and natural cycles, this bandana expresses a darker, more contemplative aesthetic, in line with the brand’s artistic direction.
Each piece is made in Japan in the Kansai region, through an artisanal process combining traditional shuttle loom weaving, hand printing, and hand-finished detailing. The cotton used offers a soft yet durable texture, designed to evolve over time and develop a smoother feel with wear.
The design is created by Yurika Shikai, a Japanese-American artist known for her richly detailed compositions blending natural symbolism with contemporary cultural references. The “Nighthings” motif presents an organic and slightly mystical aesthetic, characteristic of the One Ear Brand universe.
Designed as a versatile object, this generously sized 90×90 cm bandana can be worn around the neck, used as headwear, styled as a fashion accessory, or repurposed as a Furoshiki (a traditional Japanese fabric wrapping technique) for carrying or wrapping objects.
