The Shirohebi Estate Bandana by One Ear Brand is part of the brand’s artistic approach, treating the bandana as a true medium for graphic expression. This model is inspired by the “Shirohebi”, or white snake, an important figure in Japanese folklore traditionally associated with luck, prosperity, and wealth.
The design blends cultural influences and contemporary visual references through a rich, narrative composition. It revisits certain classic bandana codes while introducing a more illustrative approach, continuing the brand’s exploration of animal and symbolic motifs.
The fabric is cotton woven on traditional looms with a selvedge construction and individually printed patterns. This artisanal process, characteristic of One Ear Brand, results in slight variations from piece to piece, enhancing the uniqueness of each item.
Made in Japan in the Kansai region, this bandana can be worn in multiple ways: around the neck, as headwear, or used as Furoshiki (a traditional Japanese square-cloth wrapping technique). At the crossroads of accessory and cultural object, it fully reflects the brand’s philosophy, combining textile heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary design.
